Discovery and Assessment
One of the most
critical steps to a successful IP Telephony deployment, and perhaps one
of the most overlooked of all, is making sure the network can handle the
demands of this new technology. In order to achieve toll-quality voice
standards, the infrastructure must conform to strict guidelines for
latency, packet loss & jitter. IEC can discover weak areas in the
existing network, but can also run non-intrusive tests on the existing
network with your existing data, to capture the true results of your

Design
Designing an IP
Telephony solution has two distinct phases, Network Design and Telephony
Design. Network Design focuses on integrating an IP Telephony solution
with your existing network. Telephony Design focuses on mapping and
migrating your existing voice system functionality onto an
IP Telephony platform while adding new capabilities such
as unified messaging or wireless services.
